Solo safari · Murchison Falls
Travelling alone in low season, I felt 100% safe with Eddy. He rerouted a closed main road so I could make the most of three days—and we saw the Big Five in less than 24 hours.
I had an absolutly fantastic journey with Eddy through the Murchinson Falls NP. I went in low season, so I was all alone as a young solo female traveler. But I felt 100% safe with Eddy. He‘s a good driver, tour Guide, travel body and a really decent human being at all. He told me a lot about his country, his people, the environment of Uganda and he knows absolutly everything about the ugandan animals. We stayed at a cozy resort, he adjusted my travel plans along the way so I could get most of my three days in Uganda and wouldn‘t get stuck in traffic because of an political event that came with a closed main road… he speaks a perfect english and it‘s completly impossible to not like him.
And not to miss out on that: we made the Big 5 in less then 24 hours 😎 the rhinos we saw at a sanctury but they live all free there and you can only walk up to them, if they are in the mood. And Eddy spotted the 🐆🐆🐆 when most drivers had allready lost patience and were long gone. But he knows the animals so well that we got to see the real king of the savannah with only one other car by our side. Still impressed by his abilities!

Gorilla trekking ranges from moderate to challenging depending on weather, terrain, and where the gorilla family is located that day. Hikes can take a few hours and include steep or muddy sections.
We discuss your fitness level in advance and request the most suitable group where possible. Porters are also available and highly recommended for comfort on the trail.
Yes. When a package states permits are included, we secure them on your behalf through the relevant authorities and include them in your final quotation.
Permit fees are controlled by park authorities and can change over time, so we always confirm current rates at the time of booking.
